The competition took place in France, at the Paul Ricard circuit. The Swiss managed to accelerate his bicycle to this mark in just 4.8 seconds, and the G-forces during the run were 3.1 G.
It is worth adding that the bicycle is equipped with a jet engine running on concentrated hydrogen peroxide. At the moment when the maximum speed was recorded, the bike had covered only 300 meters. It covered the 402-meter distance in 6.8 seconds.
The engine was designed by Gissi's friend, engineer Arnold Nerache, who is well-versed in thermodynamics. This is not his only development. On the designer's official website, you can find a jetpack that also runs on hydrogen peroxide.
