Euro-3
Euro-3 is a European environmental standard that sets limits on the level of toxic components (CO, CH, HC) in the exhaust gases of new vehicles. According to this standard, the volume of carbon monoxide (CO) in the exhaust is limited to 2.1 g/kWh.
The Euro-3 standard came into force in 1999, and from 2005 it was replaced by the Euro-4 standard.
