Euro-2

Euro-2 is a European environmental standard that establishes permissible levels of harmful components (CO, CH, HC) in exhaust gases of new vehicles. According to this standard, the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in exhaust is limited to 4 g/kWh.

The Euro-2 standard was introduced in 1995, and from 1999 it was replaced by the Euro-3 standard.
