Euro-1
Euro-1 is a European environmental standard that sets limits on the concentration of toxic components (CO, CH, HC) in the exhaust gases of new vehicles. According to this regulation, the level of carbon monoxide (CO) in the exhaust is limited to 4.9 g/kWh.
The standard came into force in 1992, and already in 1995 it was replaced by the Euro-2 standard.
