The news that Paris police confiscated eleven luxury cars from Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the son of the former president of Equatorial Guinea, spread around the world. This country is tiny, with a barely alive economy and a poor population.
This state of affairs is a direct consequence of the rule of Teodoro's father, a former dictator who held power for as long as 32 years, until he was overthrown and taken into custody for embezzling state funds for personal needs.
Naturally, Teodoro tried by all means to keep the property gifted by his father, but the French police thwarted these plans.
The video shows how the detention and seizure of these supercars took place.
Among the confiscated cars: Ferrari Enzo, 599 GTO, two Bugatti Veyron (including the GrandSport version), Aston Martin One-77 and V8 V600 LeMans, Maserati MC12, Porsche Carrera GT, Rolls-Royce.
