Greetings to all.
I decided to look for a car from Japan. A question arose about flooded vehicles. It's clear that among American cars there are plenty of such, but how often does this happen with Japanese ones?
I read some information. As usual, opinions differ. So the question is: how realistic is it to come across such a car?
And what should you look at first — what external signs reveal a drowned car?
Drowned ones...

There is always a chance of coming across a drowned car. First of all, such a car may be sold cheaper, but this is not mandatory. The main external signs are fogged headlights, both front and rear. Be sure to inspect the interior: if you smell mold, and there is rust on metal elements (seat frame, adjustment handle), then you have a 100% drowned car.
