Subaru Outback: prices and specifications

The Subaru Outback, first introduced in 1995, was originally an "off-road" version of the Legacy wagon. Its name Outback was given in honor of a remote arid region of Australia. In 2000, the Outback became a standalone model. The main differences from the original Legacy wagon are increased ground clearance and plastic body cladding around the perimeter of the body.
