Porsche 918 is the first hybrid supercar of the brand. The model is offered in two versions: the 918 RS coupe and the 918 Spyder roadster.
The concept car was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010. The car is built on the Porsche RS Spyder platform. The body is a one-piece monocoque made of carbon fiber. The manufacturer claims fuel consumption of about 3.3 liters per 100 km.
The powertrain consists of a 4.6-liter gasoline engine with 608 hp and two electric motors: a front one with 95 kW and a rear one with 115 kW. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.8 seconds, to 200 km/h — 7.9 seconds, to 300 km/h — 23 seconds. The top speed is limited to 340 km/h.
