Nissan Tiida first appeared in 2004. The model is built on the extended platform of the Note microvan. It is produced in two body types: sedan and five-door hatchback. In Japanese, the word Tiida can be translated as "dawn" or "changing tide." In some markets, the car is known as Versa and Latio. In 2007, Tiida officially entered the Ukrainian market.
