Lamborghini Gallardo: prices and specifications

3 generations Country of origin: Italy

The most mass-produced Lamborghini model debuted in 2003. It is available in two body types: two-door coupe and convertible. In 2008, the second generation was presented at the Geneva Motor Show under the name LP 560-4. It differed from its predecessor with a revised exterior and interior design, and most importantly, a new 5.2-liter ten-cylinder engine with the company's proprietary direct injection system Iniezione Diretta Stratificata. This engine was paired with a six-speed manual or an automatic E-gear transmission. A little later, in the same year, the open version was released — the Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder.

In 2007, Lamborghini also introduced the Gallardo Superleggera modification, the design of which was developed by the coachbuilding firm Carrozzeria Touring. This version was 100 kg lighter than the base model thanks to the use of carbon fiber materials. Additionally, the engine in the Superleggera was a tuned version of the unit that powers the regular Gallardo.

The car's drive is all-wheel drive.
