JAC J3 is a front-wheel drive B-class car produced since 2009. The model is offered in two body types: hatchback and sedan.
In April 2012, an updated version debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. It featured a redesigned front end, as well as an interior and instrument panel that became more similar to European models.
The base configuration of the JAC J3 includes central locking, air conditioning, an audio system, and power-adjustable exterior mirrors. Higher-end versions add airbags, ABS, climate control, and heated mirrors. The front suspension is McPherson type, the rear is double-wishbone. Disc brakes are installed at the front, drum brakes at the rear.
The car is equipped with a 1.3-liter gasoline engine producing 108 hp and a torque of 138 Nm. The transmission is a five-speed manual.
Sales in Ukraine started in September 2013.
