Diesel engine
A diesel engine is a power unit where the combustible mixture self-ignites under high pressure in the cylinder, rather than from an electric spark, as in gasoline counterparts. Almost all modern engines of this type are equipped with turbocharging and a Common Rail fuel supply system, which provides direct injection.
