BYD S8: prices and specifications

BYD S8 is a front-wheel-drive convertible with four seats. Initially, the model was developed under the name F8 Convertible, but the index was changed shortly before the series launch. The car's exterior combines features from different models: the front resembles the Mercedes C-Class, while the rear is reminiscent of the Renault Megane CC. In 2009, the model was released with a hard folding roof operated by an electro-hydraulic mechanism. On the Ukrainian market, the BYD S8 is offered with only one engine option — a two-liter gasoline unit paired with a five-speed manual transmission. For a leisurely convertible mode, this power is quite sufficient.
