When you think of the Passat CC, the first thing that comes to mind is status. Some may argue whether it's appropriate to call it a "four-door coupe," but if you decipher the CC abbreviation as "The Best of the Best," everything falls into place. In terms of equipment richness, it clearly surpasses the regular Passat, and its low-slung body with frameless doors looks larger and more noble than the donor model — it's sometimes even mistaken for the next-generation Passat. The sloping roof, high beltline, and rear bench with two deep recesses all create a coupe feel, but the key word remains "comfort." This is especially noticeable in the most powerful version, where under the hood sits a V6 3.6, a robotic DSG works, and all-wheel drive is engaged. Such a setup adds weight and appetite to the car. However, you quickly forget about the extra kilograms: the engine has plenty of torque, the car starts easily, accelerates powerfully and smoothly. And it remains comfortable at any speed. The suspension is what sets the CC apart from other Passats: the sedan-coupe rides noticeably softer. Handling is classic for the brand: the large car obeys the steering wheel unconditionally. Now about the second important plus: the top version of the VW Passat CC costs half a million rubles less than the simplest modification of the flagship Phaeton. In short, you get the point.
