Nissan X-Trail fourth generation

The fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail uses the CMF-C platform and is offered with a conventional petrol engine or the e-Power series hybrid.

Dimensions

It is 4681 mm long, 1840 mm wide and 1730 mm tall on a 2706 mm wheelbase, weighing 1590-2024 kg. Seating is for five or seven.

e-Power hybrid

The model's defining feature is e-Power, where the 1.5-litre three-cylinder variable-compression petrol engine has no mechanical link to the wheels at all and works purely as a generator. The car always drives on electric power, yet never needs plugging in.

All-wheel-drive hybrid versions use e-4ORCE with a separate motor on the rear axle.
