Just ten years ago, no one would have believed that the Korean auto industry could create a truly representative car. To win customers away from Lexus at home, engineers built the Genesis according to all the laws of the business class: classic rear-wheel drive, serious V6 and V8 engines, and generous equipment. You just want to spin this off into a separate brand!

It's only a pity that the car didn't reach Russia in all versions — neither navigation nor adaptive cruise control can be seen here, and of the three available engines, only one is brought in. However, there's not much choice needed: this engine is good.

The powerful 3.8 V6, producing 290 horsepower, pulls the sedan smoothly and assertively, without the slightest pause, at any speed. The cabin is quiet — sound insulation is top-notch, and the air suspension silently swallows all joints and potholes. Everything here is done so that the passenger in the back rests in silence and enjoys the first-class sound of the Lexicon audio system. He even has his own remote control, which can manage both the music and the seats — up to moving the front seat forward.

The only thing that doesn't yet fit the new philosophy is the more than modest price tag. And that's probably for the best.
