For the American brand, this compact car is a real bet on the future. It is in this segment of compact city cars that, according to the manufacturer, the main interest of buyers will be concentrated, especially in the current difficult economic conditions. The new model replaces a car known to us first as the Daewoo Matiz, and then, in its second generation, as the Chevrolet Spark. This city car managed to spread around the planet with an impressive circulation of more than 1.3 million units.
The new model has become 15 centimeters longer than its predecessor — now its length is 3.64 meters. This increase does not take the car out of the city class, but at the same time promises to make the interior noticeably more spacious and comfortable than the current version.
DECIDEDLY DIFFERENT

The design is perhaps the biggest step forward. The new Spark clearly inherited many features of the Beat concept shown in 2007. The car looks young and dynamic: the body lines are restrained but expressive, the wheel arches are clearly defined, and the side windows have an unusual and pleasing shape. The rear door handles are cleverly hidden in the pillars, making the car visually appear as a three-door hatchback. This is exactly the bold decision that was needed to breathe life into a model whose exterior was developed back in distant 1998.
When the Chevrolet Spark goes on sale, which will happen at the very beginning of 2010, under its hood will be offered gasoline engines with a volume of 1.0 and 1.2 liters. In addition, the appearance of a version running on two types of fuel is not excluded.
STYLE DYNAMICS
The Spark is compact and dynamic. The winding line that can be traced in the rear part of the side is repeated in the interior – on the dashboard
