The Mini Coupe became the first two-seat car in the Mini family. Structurally, it is a three-box design with clearly separated engine compartment, cabin, and trunk.
The Mini Coupe is based on the Mini Cabriolet platform, but the windshield is tilted 13 degrees more than that of the donor. The car is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine or a 2.0-liter diesel engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Drive is front-wheel.
