Maybach 62: premium flagship with extended wheelbase
In 2003, the second model of the premium sub-brand Mercedes-Benz premiered. This car differs from the Maybach 57 by an increased wheelbase of 437 mm (V240 chassis), while the interior and exterior design of both models is identical. In addition to the base version, modifications Maybach 62 S, Maybach 62 Landaulet and Maybach 62 "Zeppelin" were produced.
The standard version is equipped with a 5.5-liter 12-cylinder gasoline engine, while more powerful modifications feature a 6.0-liter engine. Both powertrains are paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Drive — rear.
