Maybach 57: prices and specifications

The model, which became one of the first in the premium sub-brand of Mercedes-Benz, entered the market in 2003. Its main rivals were top-class sedans from Rolls-Royce and Bentley. Unlike another model of the brand under the index 62, the Maybach 57 differs by a shorter wheelbase and the W240 chassis. In addition to the base version, there was a sporty modification 57 S. The standard model was equipped with a 5.5-liter engine, while the sporty one had a 6.0-liter twelve-cylinder gasoline unit. Both engines were paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. The car's drive is rear-wheel drive.
