Great Wall Haval M2: prices and specifications

The compact urban crossover Great Wall Haval M2 became the youngest model in the Haval SUV family. According to the new classification introduced in 2009, the name Haval is assigned to all crossovers of the brand, while the M2 index indicates belonging to "B-class urban crossovers."

The decision to launch the Haval M2 was made by Great Wall against the backdrop of growing popularity of compact crossovers and microvans worldwide. In global markets, the main rival of this model was the Romanian-French hatchback Renault Sandero Stepway.

Work on the design and technical part of the car started in 2010. Since the model was aimed at a young audience, its appearance was decided to be avant-garde and unlike other Great Wall cars. A "cubic" style reminiscent of the Kia Soul was chosen for the body, especially in the front part. However, unlike the Korean model, the Haval M2 has a flat roof rather than a raised one.
