motorway – a road that:
is specially built and intended for the movement of vehicles, is not intended for entry to or exit from adjacent territory;
has for each direction of movement separate carriageways, which are separated from each other by a dividing strip;
does not intersect at the same level other roads, railway and tram tracks, pedestrian and bicycle paths, animal driveways, has fences on the shoulders and the dividing strip, and is also fenced with a net;
marked with road sign 5.1;

2.7. A driver, except for drivers of vehicles of diplomatic and other representative offices of foreign states, international organizations, operational and special vehicles, must provide a vehicle:
a) to police and healthcare workers for delivery to the nearest medical facility of persons in need of urgent medical care;

1.35. "Cattle drive". A road section where cattle may appear.

1.30. "Multi-track railway". Designation of a crossing over a railway with two or more tracks not equipped with a barrier.

3.24. "No U-turn". U-turn of vehicles is prohibited. In this case, a left turn is allowed.

1.2 (wide solid line) — marks the edge of the carriageway on motorways or the boundaries of the lane for route vehicles. In places where entry of other vehicles into the lane for route vehicles is allowed, this line may be broken;
Line 1.2 may be crossed in the event of a forced stop if this line marks the edge of the carriageway adjacent to the shoulder.

4.6. "Move right or left". Movement only in the directions indicated by the arrows on signs 4.1—4.6
Signs 4.3, 4.5 and 4.6 also allow a U-turn of vehicles. The effect of signs 4.1—4.6 does not apply to vehicles moving along established routes.
The effect of signs 4.1—4.6 applies to the intersection of carriageways in front of which they are installed. The effect of sign 4.1, installed at the beginning of the road or after an intersection,
applies to the road section up to the nearest intersection. The sign does not prohibit turning right into courtyards and other territories adjacent to the road.

8.3. Traffic controller signals have priority over traffic light signals and requirements of priority road signs and are mandatory for execution.
Traffic light signals, except for the yellow flashing one, have priority over priority road signs.
Drivers and pedestrians must comply with additional requirements of the traffic controller, even if they contradict traffic light signals, requirements of road signs and markings.

9.4. It is necessary to give a signal with turn indicators or by hand in advance before the start of the maneuver (taking into account the speed of movement), but not less than 50—100 m in populated areas and
150—200 m outside them, and stop immediately after its completion (the hand signal should be finished directly before the start of the maneuver). It is prohibited to give a signal
if it may be unclear to other road users.
Giving a warning signal does not give the driver an advantage and does not relieve him from taking precautionary measures.

10.4. Before turning right, left, or making a U-turn, the driver must take in advance the appropriate extreme position on the carriageway intended for movement in this direction, except in cases where the turn is made when entering an intersection where circular traffic is organized, the direction of movement is determined by road signs or road markings, or movement is possible only in one direction established by the configuration of the carriageway, road signs, or markings.
A driver making a left turn or U-turn outside an intersection from the corresponding extreme position on the carriageway of this direction must give way to oncoming vehicles, and when performing these maneuvers not from the extreme left position on the carriageway — also to passing vehicles.
If there is a tram track in the middle of the carriageway, the driver of a non-rail vehicle making a left turn or U-turn outside an intersection must give way to the tram.

11.1. The number of lanes on the carriageway for the movement of non-rail vehicles is determined by road markings or road signs 5.16, 5.17.1, 5.17.2, and in their absence
— by the drivers themselves, taking into account the width of the carriageway of the corresponding direction of movement, the dimensions of vehicles and safe intervals between them.

12.1. When choosing a safe speed within the established limits, the driver must take into account the road situation, as well as the characteristics of the cargo being transported and the condition of the vehicle, in order to be able to constantly control its movement and safely manage it.

30.3. The following identification signs are installed on the corresponding vehicles (Appendix 4):
h) "Oversized cargo" — signal plates or flags of size 400 x 400 mm with alternating red and white stripes applied diagonally (width — 50 mm), and in the dark

15.7. On descents and ascents, where the method of placement is not regulated by traffic control means, vehicles must be placed at an angle to the edge of the carriageway so as not to create obstacles for other road users and to exclude the possibility of spontaneous movement of these means.
On such sections, it is allowed to place the vehicle along the edge of the carriageway, turning the steered wheels in such a way as to exclude the possibility of spontaneous movement of the vehicle.
28.2. On mountain roads and steep descents, the driver of a truck whose permissible maximum mass exceeds 3.5 t, a tractor, and a bus must:
b) during a stop or parking on ascents and descents, use wheel chocks.

16.9. When moving in the direction of the arrow included in the additional section simultaneously with the yellow or red traffic light signal, the driver must give way to vehicles moving from other directions.
When moving in the direction of the green arrow on a plate installed at the level of the red traffic light signal with vertical arrangement of signals, the driver must take the extreme right (left) lane and give way to vehicles and pedestrians moving from other directions.

31.4.3. External lighting devices:
a) the quantity, type, color, placement and mode of operation of external lighting devices do not meet the requirements of the vehicle design;
b) the adjustment of the headlights is violated;
c) the lamp of the left headlight in the low beam mode does not light;
d) there are no diffusers on the lighting devices or diffusers and lamps are used that do not correspond to the type of this lighting device;
e) tinting or coating is applied to the diffusers of lighting devices, which reduces their transparency or light transmission.
Notes:
1. Motorcycles (mopeds) may be additionally equipped with one fog lamp, other mechanical vehicles — with two. Fog lamps must be placed at a height of at least 250 mm from the road surface (but not higher than the low beam headlights) symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and no further than 400 mm from the outer dimension in width.
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. These Rules, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Road Traffic", establish a uniform procedure for road traffic throughout the territory of Ukraine. Other regulatory acts relating to the specifics of road traffic (transportation of special cargo, operation of certain types of vehicles, movement on a closed territory, etc.) must be based on the requirements of these Rules. #

3.1. "Movement prohibited". Movement of all vehicles is prohibited.
