Disc brakes

Disc brakes are a mechanism where a brake disc is attached to the wheel, and the pads are located on it. To slow down the movement, the pads are pressed against the surface of the disc. To increase efficiency, such brakes are often made ventilated: the disc has special holes that help avoid overheating.
