In 2004, Ferrari decided to replace the 456 M with a larger coupe. The design of the new car was developed by Frank Stephenson from the Pininfarina studio. According to his idea, it was supposed to be a spacious two-door coupe capable of comfortably accommodating four adult passengers.
The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is equipped with a 5.7-liter V12 gasoline engine. The gearbox is either a six-speed manual or a six-speed semi-automatic. Drive is rear-wheel. Production of the model ended in 2010.
