The Chery Kimo microvan, first introduced in 2006, differs from other Chinese models in that it has almost no borrowed elements. Its body, popular in Europe, can help the car successfully establish itself in a new market. The Kimo's design was developed by the Italian studio Bertone. In some countries, the model is sold under the names A1 or S12. In Ukraine, the Chery Kimo appeared in early 2008.
