Cadillac SRX is a luxury midsize crossover. The first generation was produced from 2004 on the GM Sigma/GMT265 platform. The car was offered with 3.6 and 4.6-liter gasoline engines paired with a five- or six-speed automatic transmission.
In 2010, production of the second-generation SRX began, built on the GM Theta Premium/GMT267 platform. The model became more compact in size but received new gasoline engines: a 2.8-liter turbocharged, a 3.0-liter, and an upgraded 3.6-liter. The only transmission option was a six-speed automatic.
In 2012, the SRX underwent a facelift: the front and rear design was updated, and the 2.8-liter engine was discontinued.
The car's drivetrain is rear-wheel drive or on-demand all-wheel drive.
