Volvo XC40 is a compact crossover that became the first model built on the CMA platform. Its official presentation took place in Milan in the fall of 2017. The car is equipped with the City Safety system, the proprietary semi-autonomous Pilot Assist feature, which operates at speeds up to 130 km/h, and a digital key access function that sends a key to a smartphone. Production of the crossover is organized at the Volvo plant in Ghent, Belgium.
