According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 9, 2008 No. 606, starting from January 1, 2009, the state technical inspection of vehicles will be carried out by business entities (service stations).
To obtain permission to conduct such an inspection, business entities must have a measuring laboratory. For its accreditation, the following equipment is required:
- gas analyzer;
- smoke meter;
- sound level meter;
- photometer for measuring luminous intensity;
- headlight tester;
- roller brake tester;
- torque wrench;
- play detector-dynamometer;
- caliper (depth gauge);
- metal ruler;
- metal tape measure;
- stopwatch;
- dynamometer;
- set of tire pressure gauges;
- device for measuring glass light transmittance.
Other necessary measuring equipment will also be required.
