Foreign cars will become more expensive

I heard that duties on foreign cars will be raised to 25–30%. Honestly, I'm in shock. As far as I understand, now everyone will gradually start switching to domestic cars. But what I should do is unclear. Even if you kill me, I can't imagine myself behind the wheel of a Lada. Are you ready to switch to a Russian car?
