President of Russia almost drove into a crowd of people

Getting out of his Mercedes ML, Dmitry Medvedev did not switch the automatic transmission selector to the parking mode, causing the car to roll towards the crowd that was greeting him. The security guards and the president himself managed to stop the car together, and fortunately, no one was injured. Russian top officials apparently have difficulties with modern cars: sometimes they cannot start a Lada, sometimes they cannot stop a Mercedes.
