Please help me figure out who is right and who is wrong.

Good evening. Please help me figure out a difficult situation. I was driving on a secondary road and before the intersection with the main road, I stopped at the sign, looked around — no one was visible, and the lights on both roads were not working. I started to enter the intersection, and then a car hit me, which was driving on the main road but without its headlights on. Help me understand who is right and who is at fault. I consider my actions correct, because I was guided by the sign. Maybe I made a mistake somewhere. It all happened in Ukraine.
