The Marussia model range currently includes two sports cars — B1 and B2.
The Russian company Marussia Motors, which produces sports cars, has announced the development of its own sports crossover. According to RIA Novosti, the premiere of the new model may take place as early as April.
During the presentation of the Formula car of the Virgin Racing team, of which Marussia Motors is a partner, the head of the Russian company Nikolay Fomenko noted that assembly of the first crossovers to individual orders will begin in February. This year, it is planned to produce about 200 such cars, and by 2012 to increase production to 2,000 vehicles.
Both Marussia models — B1 and B2 — are equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 Cosworth engine that produces 245 hp and 330 Nm of torque. The engine works in conjunction with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Marussia will release a crossover.
