The SsangYong Tivoli became the first subcompact crossover in the history of the South Korean brand. The model was built on a new platform, equipped with an original body and two new engines — gasoline and diesel. The name Tivoli comes from the word ILOVIT, which in turn stands for "I love it." On the Ukrainian market, a front-wheel drive modification with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine producing 128 hp, paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, was offered. Sales of the model through the official SsangYong dealer network in Ukraine started in July 2016.
