The Opel Mokka became the first subcompact crossover model in the history of the German brand. Despite its compact dimensions, the car can carry up to five people. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional. For the Ukrainian market, the model is offered with a 1.8-liter petrol engine, which is paired with a manual gearbox or an automatic transmission. In the base version, the Opel Mokka is equipped with a number of assistance systems previously available only in more expensive trims: ESC, TC, HSA, and HDC.
