Ukraine founded in 1959 Model range
Ukrainian automaker ZAZ (Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant) started its operations in 1959. It was based on an enterprise founded in 1863 by Abraham Koop, which previously produced agricultural machinery and equipment.
In 1998, a joint Ukrainian-Korean enterprise "AvtoZAZ-Daewoo" was established. Since 2003, the company returned to its original name — "Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant".
