The Land Cruiser Prado 250 is the model's first new generation in thirteen years. The styling deliberately returns to 1980s squared-off forms, and the engineering comes from the larger Land Cruiser 300: a GA-F ladder frame rather than a unibody.
Dimensions and construction
It is 4925 mm long, 1980 mm wide and 1870 mm tall on a 2850 mm wheelbase, with kerb weight up to 2618 kg. The body is body-on-frame, with permanent four-wheel drive, a Torsen locking centre differential and a two-speed transfer case.
Engines
Ukraine gets the 2.8 D-4D (1GD-FTV) turbodiesel with 205 hp and 500 Nm, plus a 2.4 T24A-FTS turbo petrol with 282 hp in the Premium trim. Both use an eight-speed automatic.
Interior
Seating is for seven. Trims are Elegance, Prestige and Premium.
