About the Spyker brand
Netherlands founded in 1898 Model range
The Dutch brand Spyker was founded in 1898 by brothers Jacob and Henrik Spijker. Their motto was the phrase «Nulla tenaci invia est via», which means «for the tenacious, no road is impassable». During World War I, the company was engaged in the production of aircraft, and shortly after its end, it went bankrupt.
The revival of the brand occurred in 1999, when engineer Maarten de Bruijn, together with a group of like-minded people, decided to resume production. Currently, Spyker specializes in creating exclusive supercars.
