Shanghai Maple (SMA) is a Chinese automaker that operated independently for only two years. In 2002, it was acquired by the major Chinese automotive group Geely. Only three models were released under the SMA brand: Maple Hisoon and Maple Marindo (mentioned twice in the original text).
