Sweden founded in 1947 Model range
The Swedish brand SAAB (Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget) was founded in 1937. Its foundation was aircraft manufacturing. In 1947, the company presented the prototype of its first car.
In 1990, General Motors bought half of SAAB's shares, and by 2000 the brand was fully under GM's control. In early 2010, the brand was acquired by the Dutch company Spyker.
