Opel is doing its best to shake off the reputation of a brand for housewives and purely utilitarian cars, and every new model is becoming bolder and more dynamic. It's no surprise that the Insignia estate has ditched the familiar name Caravan in favor of the more euphonious Sports Tourer. And it must be admitted, the name is fully justified: the newcomer's appearance looks sportily swift, the engine lineup is diverse enough for everyone to choose the right level of excitement, and the chassis with adaptive settings provides enviable smoothness and comfort without compromising handling.
As for passengers, they have no reason to complain either: both rows of seats offer plenty of room for legs and head. Moreover, engineers have proven that a stylish and fast car can also be spacious — in the standard seatback position, the trunk is ready to take 540 liters of cargo, and if you fold the second row, the volume grows almost threefold, to 1530 liters.
