This function informs the driver about a vehicle approaching from behind. It activates when the turn signal is turned on. The driver receives a visual and audible warning.

The CX-7 features all-wheel drive, complemented by a torque distribution function. The system compares the rotational speed of the front and rear axles to promptly detect when the front wheels begin to slip. At such a moment, it instantly redirects up to half of the torque to the rear axle, constantly varying the load between the axles. Thanks to this, the car maintains confident road grip and does not lose traction.
