About the Ferrari brand
Italy Model range
Ferrari is an Italian manufacturer of racing and premium automobiles. Since 1989, it has been part of the FIAT group, with its headquarters located in Maranello.
The brand was founded by the famous Alfa Romeo racer and test driver Enzo Ferrari, who established a company called Auto Avio Costruzioni in 1939. Initially, the firm produced automotive equipment, while the cars assembled at its facilities were sold under the Alfa Romeo brand as part of an agreement with that company.
The first car bearing the name "Ferrari" saw the light of day in 1946. It was the Ferrari 125 model, equipped with a powerful 12-cylinder aluminum engine. This car embodied the creator's vision: combining the qualities of a racing machine with the comfort of an ordinary road car. As an emblem, Enzo Ferrari chose the image of a prancing horse on a yellow background.
