Japan founded in 1907 Model range

The Japanese automaker Daihatsu traces its history back to 1907. At its founding, the company was called Hatsudoki Seizo Co. Ltd, and the brand name Daihatsu Cogyo was only adopted in 1951. In 1967, the brand became part of Toyota's structure, and seven years later, in 1974, it was renamed Daihatsu Motor Company. Today, Daihatsu is a subsidiary of Toyota.

The company's main focus is the production of compact cars in various body types.
