About the Cadillac brand
Cadillac is an American automobile manufacturer founded in 1902. The brand was created by Henry Leland, who named the company Cadillac Motor Car Company after Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, the founder of Detroit. In 1909, the brand came under the control of General Motors Corporation.
The Cadillac model range includes both large sedans and crossovers, as well as compact models aimed at the European market. The brand is considered the most prestigious in the United States and holds the position of the flagship brand within the General Motors structure.
