33. ROAD SIGNS (Annex 1)
1. Warning signs

1.1 "Dangerous right turn".

Signs 1.1 and 1.2 warn about a road curve with a radius of less than 500 m outside built-up areas and less than 150 m in built-up areas, or about a curve with limited visibility.

1.3.2 "Several turns"
A road section with two or more dangerous turns located one after another: 1.3.1 - with the first turn to the right, 1.3.2 - with the first turn to the left.

1.4.3 "Turn direction"
Signs (1.4.1 - movement to the right, 1.4.2 - movement to the left) show the direction of the turn of the road indicated by signs 1.1 and 1.2, the direction to bypass an obstacle on the road, and sign 1.4.1, in addition, shows the direction to bypass the center of an intersection with circular traffic; sign 1.4.3 (movement to the right or to the left) shows the direction of movement at T-shaped intersections, road forks, or bypassing a road section under repair.

Sign 1.5.1 - narrowing of the road on both sides, 1.5.2 - on the right, 1.5.3 - on the left side.

1.6 "Steep ascent"

Signs 1.6 and 1.7 warn about approaching an ascent or descent where the requirements of Section 28 of these Rules apply.

1.8 "Exit to embankment or shore"
Exit to the shore of a water body, including a ferry crossing (used with plate

1.9 "Tunnel"
Approach to a structure that has no artificial lighting, the view of the entrance portal of which is limited, or where the carriageway is narrowed on the approach.

1.10 "Rough road"
A road section that has irregularities of the carriageway - undulations, bulges, heaving.

1.11 "Hill"
A road section with humps, bulges, or uneven joints of bridge structures. The sign may also be used before artificially created humps in places where it is necessary to forcibly limit the speed of vehicles (dangerous exits from nearby areas, places with intensive pedestrian traffic of children across the road, etc.).

1.12 "Pothole, rut"
A road section with potholes or subsidence of the road surface on the carriageway.

1.13 "Slippery road"
A road section with increased slipperiness of the carriageway.

1.14 "Ejection of stony materials"
A road section where gravel, crushed stone, etc. may be ejected from under the wheels of vehicles.

1.15 "Dangerous shoulder"
Raised, lowered, destroyed shoulder, or a shoulder where repair works are being carried out.

1.16 "Falling stones"
A road section where falling stones, landslides, or shifts may occur.

1.17 "Side wind"
A road section where strong side wind or its sudden gusts are possible.

1.18 "Low-flying aircraft"
A road section that passes near an airfield or over which aircraft or helicopters fly at low altitude.

1.19 "Intersection with circular traffic".

1.20 "Intersection with tram track"
A place where the road crosses a tram track at an intersection with limited visibility or outside it.

1.21 "Intersection of equivalent roads"

1.22 "Intersection with a secondary road".




Sign 1.23.1 - adjoining from the right side, 1.23.2 - from the left, 1.23.3 - from the right and left, 1.23.4 - from the left and right sides.

1.24 "Traffic light regulation"
An intersection, pedestrian crossing, or road section where traffic is regulated by a traffic light.

1.25 "Drawbridge"
Approach to a drawbridge.


1.27 "Railway crossing with barrier"

1.28 "Railway crossing without barrier"

1.29 "Single-track railway"
Designation of a crossing over a railway with a single track that is not equipped with a barrier.

1.30 "Multi-track railway"
Designation of an unguarded railway crossing with two or more tracks.






Additional warning of approaching a railway crossing outside built-up areas.

1.32 "Pedestrian crossing"
Approach to an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing marked with appropriate road signs or road markings.

1.33 "Children"
Road section where children may appear from the territory of a children's institution (preschool, school, health camp, etc.) that adjoins directly to the road.

1.34 "Cyclists crossing"
Road section where cyclists may appear, or a place of crossing with a bicycle path outside an intersection.

1.35 "Cattle crossing"
Road section where cattle may appear.

1.36 "Wild animals"
Road section where wild animals may appear.

1.37 "Road works"
Road section where works are being carried out.

1.38 "Traffic congestion"
Road section where narrowing of the carriageway causes traffic congestion due to road works or for another reason.

1.39 "Other danger (accident-prone section)"
Dangerous road section in places where the width of the carriageway, radii of curves, etc. do not meet the requirements of building standards, as well as a place or section of concentration of road traffic accidents.
Warning signs, except for signs 1.4.1-1.4.3, 1.29-1.31.6, are installed outside built-up areas at a distance of 150-300m, in built-up areas - at a distance of 50-100m from the beginning of the dangerous section. If necessary, signs are installed at a different distance, which is indicated on the plate 7.1.1.
Signs 1.6 and 1.7 are installed directly before the beginning of ascents or descents located one after another.
On signs 1.23.1-1.23.4 the image corresponds to the actual configuration of the intersection.
Signs 1.23.3 and 1.23.4 are installed if the distance between the junctions of secondary roads is less than 50m in built-up areas and 100m - outside them.
Signs 1.29 and 1.30 are installed directly before the railway crossing.
Sign 1.31.1 is installed with the first (main) sign 1.27 or 1.28 in the direction of travel, sign 1.31.4 - with the duplicate one installed on the left side of the carriageway, signs 1.31.3 and 1.31.6 - with the second sign 1.27 or 1.28, signs 1.31.2 and 1.31.5 independently (at an even distance between the first and second sign 1.27 or 1.28).
Sign 1.37 may be installed at a distance of 10-15m from the place of short-term works on the carriageway in a built-up area.
Outside built-up areas signs 1.8, 1.13-1.16, 1.25, 1.27, 1.28, 1.33 and 1.37, and in built-up areas signs 1.33 and 1.37 are repeated. The next sign is installed at a distance of at least 50 m from the beginning of the dangerous section.
Signs 1.10, 1.12, 1.14, 1.15, 1.37 and 1.38 are temporary and are installed for the period necessary to carry out the relevant works on the road.
2. Priority signs

2.1 "Give way"
The driver must give way to vehicles approaching an uncontrolled intersection on the main road, and if there is a plate 7.8 to vehicles moving on the main road.

2.2 "Stop and give way"
It is prohibited to proceed without stopping before marking 1.12 (stop line) (see Road markings), and if it is absent - before the sign.

2.3 "Main road"
The right of priority passage of uncontrolled intersections is granted.

2.4 "End of main road"
The right of priority passage of uncontrolled intersections is cancelled.

2.5 "Give way to oncoming traffic"
It is prohibited to enter a narrow section of the road if this may impede oncoming traffic. The driver must give way to oncoming vehicles located on the narrow section.

2.6 "Priority over oncoming traffic"
Narrow section of the road, while driving on which the driver has priority over oncoming vehicles.
Signs 2.1-2.3, 2.5 and 2.6 are installed directly before the intersection or narrow section of the road, in addition, sign 2.3 at the beginning, and sign 2.4 - at the end of the main road. Sign 2.3 with plate 7.8 must be repeated before the intersection where the main road changes its direction.
Outside built-up areas on roads with hard surface, sign 2.1 is repeated with an additional plate 7.1.1.
If a sign 2.2 is installed directly before an intersection, it must be preceded by sign 2.1 with an additional plate 7.1.2.
If sign 2.2 is installed before a railway crossing that is not guarded and not equipped with traffic light signaling, the driver must stop before the stop line, and in its absence - before this sign.
3. Prohibitory signs

3.1 "Movement prohibited"
Movement of all vehicles is prohibited.

3.2 "Movement of mechanical vehicles prohibited"

3.3 "Movement of trucks prohibited"
Movement of trucks and vehicle combinations with a permissible maximum mass exceeding 3.5 t (if the mass is not indicated on the sign) or exceeding that indicated on the sign is prohibited, as well as tractors, self-propelled machines and mechanisms.

3.4 "Movement with trailer prohibited"
Movement of trucks and tractors with trailers of any type is prohibited, as well as towing of mechanical vehicles.

3.5 "Movement of tractors prohibited"
Movement of tractors, self-propelled machines and mechanisms is prohibited.

3.6 "Movement of motorcycles prohibited"

3.7 "Movement of mopeds prohibited"
Movement of mopeds and bicycles with auxiliary engines is prohibited.

3.8 "Movement of bicycles prohibited"

3.9 "Movement of pedestrians prohibited"

3.10 "Movement with hand carts prohibited"

3.11 "Movement of horse-drawn carts (sledges) prohibited"
Movement of horse-drawn carts (sledges), animals under saddle or pack, as well as driving cattle is prohibited.

3.12 "Movement of vehicles transporting dangerous goods prohibited"

3.13 "Movement of vehicles transporting explosives prohibited"

3.14 "Movement of vehicles transporting substances polluting water prohibited"

3.15 "Movement of vehicles with mass exceeding ...t prohibited"
Movement of vehicles, including their combinations, whose total actual mass exceeds that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.16 "Movement of vehicles with axle load exceeding ...t prohibited"
Movement of vehicles in which the actual load on any axle is greater than that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.17 "Movement of vehicles with width exceeding ...m prohibited"
Movement of vehicles whose overall width (with or without load) is greater than that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.18 "Movement of vehicles with height exceeding ...m prohibited"
Movement of vehicles whose overall height (with or without load) is greater than that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.19 "Movement of vehicles with length exceeding ...m prohibited"
Movement of vehicles whose overall length (with or without load) is greater than that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.20 "Movement of vehicles without maintaining distance ...m prohibited"
Movement of vehicles with a distance between them less than that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.21 "Entry prohibited"
Entry of all vehicles is prohibited.

3.22 "Right turn prohibited"

3.23 "Left turn prohibited"
Left turn of vehicles is prohibited. At the same time, a U-turn is allowed.

3.24 "U-turn prohibited"
U-turn of vehicles is prohibited. At the same time, a left turn is allowed.

3.25 "Overtaking prohibited"
Overtaking of all vehicles is prohibited (except single ones *, which move at a speed of less than 30 km/h).
* Single vehicles are considered to be single vehicles, road trains, as well as a towing vehicle coupled with a towed one.

3.26 "End of overtaking prohibition"

3.27 "Overtaking by trucks prohibited"
Trucks with a permissible maximum mass exceeding 3.5 t are prohibited from overtaking all vehicles (except single ones moving at a speed of less than 30 km/h). Tractors are prohibited from overtaking all vehicles, except single bicycles, horse-drawn carts (sledges).

3.28 "End of overtaking prohibition for trucks"

3.29 "Maximum speed limit"
Movement at a speed exceeding that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.30 "End of maximum speed limit"

3.31 "Maximum speed limit zone"
Movement in the zone (populated area, microdistrict, recreation area, etc.) at a speed exceeding that indicated on the sign is prohibited.

3.32 "End of maximum speed limit zone"

3.33 "Sound signal prohibited"
Use of sound signals is prohibited, except in cases where it is impossible to prevent a traffic accident without it.

3.34 "No Stopping"
Stopping and parking of vehicles is prohibited, except for taxis that are picking up or dropping off passengers (loading or unloading cargo).

3.35 "No Parking"
Parking of all vehicles is prohibited.

3.36 "No Parking on Odd Days of the Month"

3.37 "No Parking on Even Days of the Month"

3.38 "Restricted Parking Zone"
Defines an area in a populated locality where the duration of parking is limited, regardless of whether a fee is charged. Conditions of the parking restriction may be indicated at the bottom of the sign. In relevant cases, the sign or additional plates 7.4.1, 7.4.2, 7.4.3, 7.4.4, 7.4.5, 7.4.6, 7.4.7, 7.19 indicate the days and times of day during which the restriction applies, as well as its conditions.
Parking in the marked zone for longer than indicated on plates 7.4.1-7.4.7, 7.19 is prohibited.

3.39 "End of Restricted Parking Zone"

3.40 "Customs"
Passing without stopping near customs is prohibited.

3.41 "Control"
Passing without stopping before control points (police post, quarantine post, border zone, closed area, toll payment point on toll roads, etc.) is prohibited.

3.42 "End of All Prohibitions and Restrictions"
Simultaneously defines the end of all prohibitions and restrictions introduced by prohibitory road signs 3.20, 3.25, 3.27, 3.29, 3.33-3.37.

3.43 "Danger"
Prohibits movement of all road users without exception on roads, streets, railway crossings due to a traffic accident, breakdown, natural disaster, or other danger to traffic (ground shift, falling rocks, heavy snowfall, flood, etc.).
The effect of signs does not apply to:
3.1, 3.2, 3.21-3.24, 3.34 - vehicles moving along established routes;
3.1, 3.2, 3.35-3.38, as well as sign 3.34 with plate 7.18 below it, to drivers with disabilities who drive a motorized wheelchair or car marked with an identification sign

"Disabled"
3.1-3.8, 3.11 - vehicles serving citizens or belonging to citizens who live or work in this zone, as well as vehicles serving enterprises located in the marked zone. In such cases, vehicles must enter the marked zone and exit it at the nearest intersection to the destination;
3.3 - trucks that have a diagonal white stripe on the outer side surface or carry groups of people;
3.35-3.38 - taxis with the taxi meter turned on.
The effect of signs 3.22-3.24 extends to the intersection of roadways and other places before which one of these signs is installed.
The zone of action of signs 3.1-3.15, 3.19-3.21, 3.25, 3.27, 3.29, 3.33-3.37 - from the place of installation to the nearest intersection beyond it, and in populated localities where there are no intersections, to the end of the populated locality. The effect of signs is not interrupted at places of exit from areas adjacent to the road and at places of intersection (junction) with field, forest, and other unpaved roads, before which priority signs are not installed.
In case of prohibition of movement on road sections marked with signs 3.17-3.19, detour should be made by another route.
The effect of signs 3.31 and 3.38 extends to the entire corresponding zone.
The effect of signs 3.9, 3.10, 3.34-3.37 extends only to the side of the road on which they are installed.
The effect of sign 3.16 extends to the road (road section) at the beginning of which this sign is installed.
The effect of signs 3.17, 3.18 extends to the place before which this sign is installed.
The effect of sign 3.29, installed before a populated locality marked with sign 5.45, extends until this sign.
In case of simultaneous use of signs 3.36 and 3.37, the time for moving vehicles from one side of the road to the other is from 19:00 to 24:00.
The zone of action of signs may be reduced:
for signs 3.20 and 3.33 - by using plate 7.2.1
for signs 3.25, 3.27, 3.29, 3.31, 3.38 - by installing at the end of their zone of action respectively signs 3.26, 3.28, 3.30, 3.32, 3.39;
for sign 3.29 - by changing the maximum speed value on the sign;
for signs 3.34 -3.37 - by plate 7.2.2
at the beginning of the zone of action, as well as by installing duplicate signs 3.34-3.37 with plate 7.2.3 at the end of their zone of actionSign 3.34 may be used together with marking 1.4, sign 3.35 - with marking 1.10 (see appendix 2), in which case their zone of action is determined by the length of the marking line.
In case of prohibition of movement of vehicles and pedestrians by signs 3.5-3.11, no more than three of their symbols may be placed on one sign, separated from each other.
4. Mandatory signs

4.1 "Go Straight"

4.2 "Move to the right"

4.3 "Move to the left"

4.4 "Move straight or to the right"

4.5 "Move straight or to the left"

4.6 "Move to the right or to the left"
Movement is allowed only in the directions indicated by the arrows on signs 4.1-4.6.

4.7 "Pass obstacle on the right"

4.8 "Pass obstacle on the left"
Passing is allowed only on the side indicated by the arrow on signs 4.7 and 4.8.

4.9 "Pass obstacle on the right or left"

4.10 "Roundabout"
Requires driving around the flowerbed (central island) in the direction shown by the arrows at the roundabout intersection.

4.11 "Passenger car movement"
Movement is allowed only for passenger cars, buses, motorcycles, route vehicles, and trucks whose permissible maximum mass does not exceed 3.5 tons.

4.12 "Bicycle path"
Movement is allowed only on bicycles. If there is no sidewalk or pedestrian path, pedestrian movement is also allowed.

4.13 "Pedestrian path"
Movement is allowed only for pedestrians.

4.14 "Pedestrian and bicycle path"
Movement of pedestrians and cyclists.

4.15 "Equestrian path"
Movement is allowed only for riders.

4.16 "Minimum speed limit"
Movement at a speed not less than indicated on the sign, but not greater than provided by clauses 12.4-12.7 of these Rules.

4.17 "End of minimum speed limit"
Signs 4.3, 4.5 and 4.6 also allow U-turns of vehicles.
The effect of signs 4.1-4.6 does not apply to vehicles moving along established routes. The effect of signs 4.1-4.6 applies to the intersection of roadways before which they are installed. The effect of sign 4.1, installed at the beginning of a road or after an intersection, applies to the road section up to the nearest intersection. The sign does not prohibit turning right into courtyards and other adjacent territories.
The effect of sign 4.11 does not apply to vehicles that serve citizens or belong to citizens who live or work in the designated zone, as well as to vehicles that serve enterprises located in this zone. In such cases, vehicles must enter the designated zone and exit it at the nearest intersection to the destination.
5. Information and direction signs

5.1 "Motorway"
A road on which special traffic conditions apply, provided by Section 27 of these Rules.

5.2 "End of motorway"

5.3 "Road for cars"
A road on which special traffic conditions apply, provided by Section 27 of these Rules (except clause 27.3 of these Rules).

5.4 "End of road for cars"

5.5 "One-way road"
A road or separated roadway on which vehicle movement across its entire width is carried out in only one direction.

5.6 "End of one-way road"

5.7.1

5.7.2 "Entering a one-way road"
Indicate the direction of movement on the intersecting road if one-way traffic is organized on it. Vehicle movement on this road or roadway is allowed only in the direction of the arrow.

5.8 "Road with a lane for route vehicles"
A road on which vehicle movement is carried out along established routes on a specially designated lane against the general flow of vehicles.

5.9 "End of road with a lane for route vehicles"

5.11 "Lane for route vehicles"
The lane is intended only for vehicles moving along established routes in the same direction as the general flow of vehicles.
The effect of the sign applies to the traffic lane above which it is installed. The effect of the sign installed to the right of the road applies to the right traffic lane.

5.12 "End of lane for route vehicles"

5.13 "Road with reversible traffic"
Beginning of a road section on which, on one or more lanes, the direction of movement may change to the opposite.

5.14 "End of road with reversible traffic"

5.15 "Exit to road with reversible traffic"

5.16 "Directions of travel along lanes"
Shows the number of lanes at the intersection and the permitted directions of travel on any of them.

5.18 "Direction of travel along lane"
Shows the permitted direction of travel along the lane.
The sign 5.18 with an arrow that depicts a left turn in a manner different from that provided for by these Rules means that at this intersection a left turn or a U-turn is made with exit beyond the boundaries of the intersection to the right and going around the flowerbed (dividing island) in the direction of the arrow.

5.19 "Use of traffic lane"
Informs drivers about the use of the lane for traffic of only certain types of vehicles in the indicated directions.
If the sign depicts a sign that prohibits or permits the movement of any vehicles, the movement of these vehicles on it is respectively prohibited or permitted.

Beginning of an additional traffic lane on an incline or a braking lane.
If the sign installed before the additional lane depicts the sign 4.16, the driver of a vehicle that cannot continue driving on the main lane at the indicated or higher speed must change to the additional traffic lane.
The sign 5.20.3 indicates the beginning of an additional lane on the left or the beginning of a braking lane before an intersection for a left turn or a U-turn.

5.21.1

5.21.2 "End of additional traffic lane"
The sign 5.21.1 indicates the end of the additional lane or acceleration lane, 5.21.2 - the end of the lane intended for traffic in this direction.

5.22 "Adjacency of acceleration lane for vehicles"
A place where the acceleration lane adjoins the main traffic lane on the road on the right side.

5.23 "Adjacency of additional traffic lane from the right side"
Indicates that the additional traffic lane adjoins the main traffic lane on the road on the right side.

5.24.2 "Change of direction of travel on road with dividing strip"
Shows the direction of bypassing a section of the roadway closed for traffic on a road with a dividing strip or the direction of travel to return to the roadway on the right side.

5.25 "Traffic lane for emergency stop"
Informs the driver about the location of a lane specially prepared for emergency stopping of vehicles in case of failure of the braking system.

5.26 "Place for U-turn"
Marks the place for U-turn of vehicles. Turning left is prohibited.

5.27 "Zone for U-turn"
Marks the zone along the length for U-turn of vehicles. Turning left is prohibited.

5.28.1

5.28.2 "Direction of travel for trucks"
Shows the recommended direction of travel for trucks and self-propelled machines.

5.29.3 "Dead end"
A road that has no through passage.

5.30 "Recommended speed"
The zone of action of the sign extends to the nearest intersection.

5.31 "Residential zone"
Informs about entry into the territory where special traffic conditions provided for by these Rules apply.

5.33 "Pedestrian zone"
Informs about the features and conditions of road traffic provided for by these Rules.

5.34 "End of pedestrian zone"

The sign 5.35.1 is installed on the right side of the road at the near boundary of the crossing, and the sign 5.35.2 - on the left side of the road at the far boundary of the crossing.

Defines the zone where parking is allowed, under the conditions indicated on the sign or additional plates below it.

5.45 "Beginning of built-up area"
Name and beginning of the built-up area where the requirements of these Rules, which determine the traffic order in built-up areas, apply.

5.46 "End of built-up area"
Place from which on this road the requirements of these Rules, which determine the traffic order in built-up areas, cease to apply.
Signs 5.45 and 5.46 are installed at the actual boundary of the development adjacent to the road.

5.47 "Beginning of built-up area"
Name and beginning of the built-up area where on this road the requirements of these Rules, which determine the traffic order in built-up areas, do not apply.

5.48 "End of built-up area"
End of the built-up area indicated by sign 5.47.

5.49 "General speed limit sign"
Informs about general speed limits on the territory of Ukraine.

5.50 "Road usability"
Informs about the possibility of driving on a mountain road, in particular when crossing a pass, the name of which is indicated in the upper part of the sign. Plates 1, 2 and 3 are replaceable. Plate 1 red with the inscription "Closed" prohibits movement, green with the inscription "Open" permits it. Plates 2 and 3 are white with inscriptions and symbols on them in black. If the passage is open, plates 2 and 3 have no indications; if the passage is closed, plate 3 indicates the populated area to which the road is open, and plate 2 has the inscription "Open to....".

5.51.3 "Advance direction sign"
Direction of travel to the populated areas and other objects indicated on the sign. The signs may bear images of signs 3.2-3.8, 3.11-3.20, 3.29, 3.31, 5.1, 5.3, 5.28.1-5.30, 5.61.1, 6.1, 6.24, airport symbols, sports and other pictograms, etc. In the lower part of sign 5.51 the distance from the place of installation to the intersection or the beginning of the deceleration lane is indicated.
Sign 5.51 is also used to indicate a detour around road sections on which one of the prohibitory signs 3.15-3.19 is installed.

5.55 "Traffic layout"
Route of movement at an intersection in case of prohibition of certain maneuvers or permitted directions of movement at a complex intersection.

5.56 "Detour layout"
Detour route for a road section temporarily closed to traffic.


5.57.2 "Detour direction"
Direction of detour around a road section temporarily closed to traffic.

5.58.1

5.58.2 "Object name"
Name of an object other than a populated area (street, river, lake, pass, notable place, etc.).

5.59 "Distance sign"
Distance to populated areas (km) located on the route.

5.60 "Kilometer sign"
Distance from the beginning of the road (km).

5.62 "Stop position"
Place where vehicles must stop during a prohibitory traffic light (traffic controller) signal or before railway crossings, the movement of which is regulated by traffic lights.
Signs 5.17.1 and 5.17.2 with the appropriate number of arrows are used on roads that have three lanes or more, if each direction has a different number of traffic lanes.
With the help of signs 5.17.1 and 5.17.2 with a replaceable image, reversible traffic is organized.
Signs 5.16 and 5.18, which permit a left turn from the extreme left lane, also permit a U-turn from
this lane.
The effect of signs 5.16 and 5.18 installed before an intersection extends to all intersections, unless the following signs
5.16 and 5.18 installed at it give other instructions.
The effect of signs 5.31, 5.33 and 5.39 extends to the entire territory indicated by them.
Separate courtyard areas are not marked with signs 5.31 and 5.32, but the requirements of Section 26 of these Rules apply in such areas.
Signs 5.51-5.54 installed outside a populated area have a green or blue background if they are installed respectively on a motorway or another road. An insert on a blue or green background means that movement to the indicated populated area or object is carried out respectively along a road other than a motorway, or along a motorway. Signs 5.51-5.54 installed in a populated area must have a white background. Inserts on a blue or green background mean that movement to the indicated populated area or object is carried out respectively along a road other than a motorway, or along a motorway.

7.6.1 - all vehicles must be parked on the roadway along the sidewalk,
7.6.2-7.6.5 - the method of placing passenger cars and motorcycles in parking near the sidewalk and its use. In populated areas where parking is allowed on the left side of the street, plates 7.6.1-7.6.5 with mirror images of symbols may be used

Indicates that in the parking area marked by signs 5.38or 5.39, it is allowed to leave vehicles only with the engine off.

7.8"Direction of main road"
Direction of the main road at an intersection. Used with signs 2.1, 2.2,2.3

7.9"Traffic lane"
Determines the traffic lane to which the sign or traffic light applies.

7.10"Number of turns"
Used with signs 1.3.1and 1.3.2, if there are three or more turns. The number of turns may also be directly indicated on signs1.3.1and1.3.2.

7.11"Ferry crossing"
Indicates approach to a ferry crossing and is used with sign 1.8.

7.12"Ice"
Means that the sign applies during the winter period if the roadway may be slippery.

7.13"Wet surface"
Indicates that the sign applies during the period when the roadway surface is damp or wet.
Plates 7.12 and 7.13 are used with signs 1.13, 1.38, 1.39, 3.1, 3.2,3.3,3.4,
3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11, 3.12, 3.13, 3.14,

7.14"Paid services"
Indicates that services are provided only for a fee.

7.15"Place for vehicle inspection"
Means that on the area marked by signs 5.38or 6.15, there is an overpass or inspection pit.

7.16"Blind pedestrians"
Indicates that the pedestrian crossing is used by blind citizens. Used with signs 1.32, 5.35.1, 5.35.2and traffic lights.

7.17"Disabled people"
Indicates that the effect of sign 5.38applies only to motorized wheelchairs and vehicles on which an identification sign is installed

in accordance with the requirements of these Rules.

7.18"Except for disabled people"
Indicates that the sign does not apply to motorized wheelchairs and vehicles on which the identification sign "Disabled person" is installed in accordance with the requirements of these Rules. Used with signs 3.1, 3.34, 3.35, 3.36,3.37, 3.38.

7.19"Parking duration limit"
Determines the maximum duration of a vehicle's stay in the parking area marked by signs 5.38and 5.39

7.20"Effective from ..."
Indicates the date (day, month, year) from which the requirements of the road sign take effect.
The plate is installed 14 days before the sign comes into effect and is removed one month after the sign has come into effect.
Plates are placed directly under the signs with which they are used.
Plates7.2.2,7.2.3,7.2.4,7.8in case of signs located above the roadway, shoulder or sidewalk, are placed to the side of the signs.
