6. Requirements for cyclists
6.1. Persons who have reached the age of 14 are allowed to ride bicycles on the road.
6.2. A cyclist has the right to ride a bicycle equipped with a sound signal and reflectors: white at the front, orange on the sides, and red at the rear. For riding in the dark and in conditions of insufficient visibility, a lantern (headlight) must be installed and turned on on the bicycle.
6.3. Cyclists moving in groups must ride one after another so as not to interfere with other road users.
A column of cyclists moving on the roadway must be divided into groups (up to 10 cyclists per group) with a distance between groups of 80-100 m.
6.4. A cyclist may carry only such cargo that does not interfere with riding the bicycle and does not create obstacles for other road users.
6.5. If a bicycle path crosses a road outside an intersection, cyclists are obliged to give way to other vehicles moving on the road.
Cyclists must cross the roadway at a bicycle crossing, and in its absence - in accordance with the requirements of these Rules.

In places where traffic is regulated, cyclists must be guided by the signals of a traffic controller or traffic light.

6.6. A cyclist is prohibited from:
a) riding a bicycle with a faulty brake, sound signal, and in the dark and in conditions of insufficient visibility - with the lantern (headlight) turned off or without reflectors;
b) moving on motorways and roads for cars, as well as on the roadway when a bicycle path is arranged nearby;
c) moving on sidewalks and pedestrian paths (except for children under 7 years old on children's bicycles under adult supervision);
d) holding onto another vehicle while moving;
e) riding without holding the handlebars and removing feet from the pedals (footrests);
f) carrying passengers on a bicycle (except for children under 7 years old who are carried on an additional seat equipped with securely fastened footrests);
g) towing bicycles;
h) towing a trailer not intended for use with a bicycle.
6.7. Cyclists must comply with the requirements of these Rules that apply to drivers or pedestrians and do not contradict the requirements of this section.
