5. Duties and rights of passengers
5.1. Passengers may board (alight) only after the vehicle has stopped, from the boarding platform, and in the absence of such a platform - from the sidewalk or roadside, and if this is impossible, then from the extreme lane of the roadway (but not from the side of the adjacent traffic lane), provided that it is safe and does not create obstacles for other road users.
5.2. Passengers, while using the vehicle, must:
a) sit or stand (if provided by the vehicle's design) in designated places, holding onto a handrail or other device;
b) during movement in the vehicle, use passive safety devices (head restraints, seat belts, where their installation is provided by the design) (except for passengers with disabilities whose physiological characteristics make it impossible to use seat belts), and on a motorcycle and moped - wear a fastened motorcycle helmet;

c) not to pollute the roadway and the right-of-way of highways;

d) not to create a threat to road safety by their actions;

e) in case of stopping or parking of vehicles at their request in places where stopping, parking, or parking is allowed only for drivers transporting passengers with disabilities, upon the demand of a police officer, present documents confirming disability (except for passengers with obvious signs of disability).

5.3. Passengers are prohibited from:
a) during movement, distracting the driver from driving the vehicle and interfering with him in this;
b) opening the vehicle doors without making sure that it has stopped at the sidewalk, boarding platform, edge of the roadway, or on the roadside;
c) preventing the closing of doors and using steps and protrusions of vehicles for riding;
d) during movement, standing in the body of a truck, sitting on the sides or in a place not equipped for sitting.
5.4. In the event of a traffic accident, a passenger of the vehicle involved in the accident must provide possible assistance to the victims, report the accident to the body or authorized unit of the National Police, and remain at the scene until the arrival of police officers.

5.5. A passenger while using the vehicle has the right to:
a) safe transportation of themselves and luggage;
b) compensation for damages caused;
c) receiving timely and accurate information about the conditions and procedure of movement.
