24. Training driving

24. DRIVING INSTRUCTION

24.1. Driving instruction is allowed only for persons who have no medical contraindications for this, confirmed by a valid medical certificate of the established form.

24.2. Persons learning to drive a car must be at least 16 years old, and a motorcycle or moped - 14 years old. Such persons must have with them a document confirming their age.

24.3. A person learning to drive a vehicle must know and comply with the requirements of these Rules.

24.4. Initial driving instruction must be conducted on closed areas, driving ranges, or in places where there are no other road users.

24.5. Driving instruction on roads is allowed only in the presence of a driver training specialist and with sufficient initial driving skills of the learner.

24.8. Vehicles (except motorcycles, mopeds, and quadricycles) on which instruction is conducted must have identification marks "Training Vehicle" in accordance with the requirements of subparagraph "k" of clause 30.3 of these Rules. Vehicles (except buses) used for instruction must also be equipped with additional clutch pedals (if the vehicle design provides for a clutch pedal), accelerator pedals (if the vehicle design allows for the possibility of equipping such a pedal), and brake pedals, and a rear-view mirror or mirrors for the driver training specialist.

24.9. Driving instruction is prohibited in residential areas, on roads for cars, and on motorways.
