Cupra Formentor is a production sports crossover first introduced to the public in spring 2020. The model got its name from Cape Formentor, located on the Spanish island of Mallorca. The Formentor is available with diesel and gasoline engines, as well as in the eHybrid plug-in hybrid version. The crossover is based on the platform of the Seat Leon hatchback, but it has no direct counterpart with a redesigned design in the Seat lineup.
