The Avtokom group of companies has been operating in the Ukrainian automotive market since 1996. The main area of activity is the wholesale and retail sale of cars. Initially, the company traded in VAZ cars. Later, the range expanded: from September 2001, GAZ cars were added, from October 2003 — ZIL, from January 2004 — PAZ, and from February 2004 — UAZ and IZH. Since September 2003, Avtokom began importing cars from Europe, Asia, and the USA. These are mainly cars of brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti, Honda, Acura, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen. Customers have access to credit purchases, as well as subsequent warranty and service maintenance. By the beginning of September 2004, the company received the status of an official VAZ dealer in eastern Ukraine. More than 2,000 cars are simultaneously located at Avtokom's trading platforms and warehouses. The group's structure includes several trading enterprises, some of which are already operating, while others are still processing the necessary documents to start trading. The stations are equipped with modern equipment and tools from leading foreign manufacturers, which allows diagnostics and repairs of any complexity. Up to 26 cars can be serviced here simultaneously. Data on breakdowns is entered into a computer database, which helps systematize information and take it into account during subsequent servicing of cars of a particular brand. LLC AVTOKOM TRANS is engaged in freight road transportation and transport logistics. It has six tractors with platforms for transporting cars (car carriers) Mercedes Benz, MAZ, and ZIL tow trucks. LLC TLS AVTO provides a full range of services related to the automotive business: brokerage and logistics services, processing of SES permits, certification for fast import, customs clearance of cars in one day, obtaining certified copies of customs declarations on the third day after clearance, storage of cars that have undergone customs clearance (warehouse area — 7,780 sq. m). The company has an open-type customs licensed warehouse with a total area of 5,070 sq. m, with the possibility of expansion up to 8,500 sq. m — it can accommodate up to 500 cars simultaneously. A railway line with a loading and unloading platform is connected to the warehouse, which ensures fast loading and unloading of cars. The warehouse throughput is from 2,500 cars per month, and up to 2,000 cars can be stored simultaneously in the general warehouse area. The company monitors the update of automakers' model ranges and promptly offers new products to customers.
